Attack With Drone Kills Three Suspected Al-Qaeda Members In Yemen

A Yemeni security official said a drone attack in southern Yemen attributed to the United States has killed three suspected al-Qaeda members on Saturday.

The attack targeted a car circulating in Shabwa province, according to the source, who declined to identify himself.
Since President Donald Trump took office in January, the United States intensified its airstrikes on Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQPA), considered by Washington to be the most dangerous branch of the extremist group.
The Pentagon announced on April 3 that it has conducted more than 70 attacks against jihadist targets in Yemen since February 28.
